Lowest Price Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Box Two

Bickering back and forth about what version is better. Everyone needs to understand that it's a matter of opinion and preference. My opinion is that the English Dub is superior over the original. At no point in this series is there a message so profound that not translating the original dialog word for word ruins the shows "message". Personal opinion is that Japanese voice acting just doesn't fit the characters. Now my opinion is based on a western view because "Shocking" im from the west. I fully understand that its the style of the original series and I can respect where the JAP fans are coming from.

But let's be honest here, they are milking this for what they can. There not giving the fans what they want they are giving a product to the percent of fans that the original product didn't cater to. I own the orange bricks. Aside from the cropping of hair which honestly isn't that big of a deal I really enjoy the set. Bottom line is that this product is really for those that held out for it. To go back and forth and say this version is better than the other version is asinine. Apparently this version has better video quality but doesn't have English music. Well it seems like its a give and take. So it really just comes down to how you enjoy the show the most. I put money that there will be a new box that claims its the best. We still have an entire new format that needs to be hit. I seriously doubt they are going to stop at Kai.

The JAP DBZ elitist need to give it a rest. Just because you prefer the original doesn't make it the best. The "this is how the creators wanted it to be seen" is really a crock of S***. There have been several remakes of shows, movie ect, that have been better than the original product. The same goes for the American fans. This box set is really not meant for you. It's unfortunate that this set has a better picture quality but is it worth losing the eng music ? Is it worth paying for a set you already own ? Personal opinion is that its not. If this is what you held out for then your in luck but unless your just an obsessed collector dont double dip if your happy with your set.

And for F*** sake stop arguing about which version is better. In a year there will be a different set that claims to better. Honestly, when they release the complete re-mastered on Blue-ray/DVD with every option for every type of fan then it will truly be a superior product .
